BIRD SIGHTING

Colombia, internationally recognized for its unique biodiversity and for being the number one country in bird species, has about 1921 species that represent 20% of birds around the world. In the Atlantic Department, we have 433 of these species, equivalent to 4.5%. Because of its natural wealth, Colombia is the ideal home for thousands of endemic birds of 70 species that are born and spend their lives in the same territory. In addition, it is perfect for migratory species that seek heat and food during the winter and thousands of kilometers are mobilized in flocks to enjoy the richness and tranquility of the landscapes.
